A Running Start to an Image Everyday Blog

A Running Start

A Running Start

An Image Everyday is about looking at different ways of shooting photographs. Some photos are easy, others may not be. This image, to me, shows speed and passion for racing. I was successful by using a slow shutter speed and panning with the movement of the targeted racer. You can see the blur of passed racers within the image. This is an example of several images being shot in a series and working long enough on site to capture the image I was looking for. This was taken at the original Cyclo-Cross races in Louisville KY a few years ago.
